The India AI Impact Summit 2026 is a global convening on AI scheduled for 19–20 February 2026 in New Delhi, India. Hosted under the auspices of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), the Summit brings together policymakers, industry leaders, researchers, civil society representatives, and international organisations to explore how AI can be developed and deployed to generate positive societal, economic, and environmental outcomes.

Structured around guiding principles of People, Planet, and Progress, the Summit’s programme focuses on thematic areas such as human capital and inclusion, safe and trusted AI, innovation and resilience, democratising AI resources, and AI for economic growth and social good. It is intended to foster actionable insights, multistakeholder dialogue, and global cooperation on priority issues related to the impact of responsible AI.

The Summit will feature high-level plenaries, panel discussions, research symposia, innovation challenges, and an AI Expo, serving as a platform to showcase cutting-edge AI solutions and facilitate partnerships among diverse actors across government, academia, civil society, and the private sector. Pre-Summit events and affiliated activities have been organised in the months leading up to the main event to engage global participants and expand discourse on AI’s potential.

The Summit is positioned within a broader international context of AI governance and collaboration, building on earlier global AI dialogues and aiming to complement ongoing efforts to ensure AI contributes to inclusive development and the global public good.
