Event report

The 2nd Western Balkan Digital Summit was held on 4-5 April 2019 in Belgrade, Serbia. The GIP Digital Watch observatory ran a just-in-time reporting initiative, reporting from over 70 sessions covering topics such as infrastructure, cybersecurity, privacy and data protection and digital economy.

The 2nd Western Balkan Digital Summit will be held on 4-5 April 2019. The conference is organised by the Office of Prime Minister Ana Brnabic, the Office for IT and eGovernment, the General Secretariat, the Ministry of Trade, Tourism, and Telecommunications, the Chamber of Commer and Industry of Serbia, and supported by the Regional Cooperation Council.

The second Western Balkans Digital Summit will bring together more than 3 000 participants to take regional digital co-operation to the next level. Senior representatives from governments, international institutions, businesses, community organisations, academia as well as individuals will have the opportunity to discuss and propose innovative policy approaches, showcase cutting-edge technologies, exchange ideas and discover latest digital trends.
