Ms Marta Arsovska-Tomovska (Digital Innovation Expert) spoke about the current age of disruption, giving examples of such disruption through companies that were established some time ago, and which have gone through a reinvention process in order to stay relevant for new generations of their customers. She gave examples and showed videos telling stories about three ‘dinosaur’ companies: Starbucks, BMW, and Ford, which went through innovative and disruptive changes to cope with ‘new times’. She concluded with the idea that innovation involves more than technology, it requires a new business design. ‘Create a culture of innovation or innovate like a startup.’
