Event report
The Internet Governance Forum (IGF) 2020 took place online, from 2 to 6 November. The GIP Digital Watch observatory provided just-in-time reporting from the forum.
The IGF 2020 Final Report was prepared by the Geneva Internet Platform (GIP) and DiploFoundation, with the support of the Internet Society.

The GIP Digital Watch observatory and DiploFoundation continued their annual practice of publishing just-in-time reports from the IGF sessions. The reports are available at the top of this page. Click on the day of the week to open the list of reports.>> About IGF 2020
Held entirely online, the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) 2020 discussed four main thematic tracks (Data, Environment, Inclusion, and Trust) under the overarching theme 'Internet for human resilience and solidarity'. The meeting was organised in two phases:- Phase I (2–6 Nov): This phase included pre-events, newcomers sessions, thematic introductory sessions, open forums (OFs), national and regional IGF initiatives (NRIs), and dynamic coalition (DC) sessions.
- Phase II (9–17 Nov): Considered the 'official' part of IGF 2020, this phase included the main sessions, a high-level leader's track, a parliamentary round table, main workshops, and concluding sessions.
