Guyana starts using digital COVID-19 certificates

The government of Guyana has passed new regulations to facilitate the use of digital COVID-19 certificates in cases where proof of vaccination is required. The regulations require that vaccination certificates be affixed with a stamp from the issuing country for security. The regulations were issued by the Chairman of the Board of Health and Chief Medical Officer, Dr Narine Singh and were approved by President Irfaan Ali. They take effect immediately.
