The Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, located in Geneva, Switzerland, is a research and higher education institution dedicated to the study of international affairs.

The focus of the Graduate Institute is on the cross-cutting fields of international relations and development issues. Its faculty and alumni are involved in academic research related to international relations and Internet policy, and are also contributing to Internet governance policy process such as the Internet Corporation of Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) and the the Internet Governance Forum (IGF).
