UN Comtrade Data Fair

The Centre for Trade and Economic Integration of the Graduate Institute of Geneva, the United Nations Statistics Division (UNSD), and the World Trade Organisation (WTO) will organise the ‘UN Comtrade Data Fair’ on 25 September 2017, at Maison de la Paix, in Geneva, Switzerland.

The event is aimed explaining the lastest on the analysis, policy use, and availability of trade data; demonstrating the latest analytical and data visualisation tools for trade data; and sharing experience in the analysis and use of trade data. It will bring together users of trade data consisting of civil society, academia, business, the media, governments, parliaments, and intergovernmental organisations.

Included in the event programme will be two panel sessions on ‘Present and future of trade data and analytical applications’ and ‘Trade, global value chains, and the unbundling of production and labour’. Throughout the day, trade data applications and data visualisations will be demonstrated at a number of exhibition booths.

Registration for the event is open. The event will also be webstreamed.
