Pakistan court lifts Tik Tok ban

A high court in Pakistan ruled that the telecommunications authority can lift the ban on Tik Tok, after the government revealed that the platform is providing support to monitor immoral content. Tik Tok has agreed to hire a focal person to make sure that third party content is better moderated. The government defines immoral content as anything containing nudity, blasphemy and obscenities. The platform has been blocked since 11 March when a court ordered it based on a petition alleging it had obscene content.
