New EU network to accelerate quantum technologies in Europe

The European Commission has chosen Dutch research institute TNO to lead its Qu-Test initiative and accelerating quantum technology.

TNO has been selected to lead a federated network of 11 European Research and Technology Organisations and National Metrology Institutes in a quantum technology advancement cooperation funded by the European Commission. The program is part of the EU’s 1 billion Quantum Flagship investment and will develop long-term, sustainable partnerships.

Qu-Test aims to be a one-stop shop, open to all European organisations working on quantum technology. The network also aims to contribute to the development of technology standards that the industry can use to move forward.
