Microsoft suspends new sales in Russia, bans RT and Sputnik
Microsoft has announced that new sales of its products and services in Russia would be halted. The company president Brad Smith also stated that Microsoft has taken actions in response to destructive cyberattacks on Ukraine.‘We have also responded to hacks targeting a number of additional civilian locations,’ Smith added.
In another statement, Microsoft has announced that RT and Sputnik will no longer be visible in MSN.com news, and their applications are to be removed from the Windows app store.
