Microsoft signs agreement with Brazil government ensuring Windows 10 meets privacy laws

According to the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), Microsoft has signed an agreement with the Brazilian government to ensure the Windows 10 operating system is in compliance with the national privacy legislation. Microsoft is required to implement changes with the next update to Windows 10 or by Aug. 15 at the latest. Microsoft has committed to enhance its procedures for gathering consent and emphasize transparency with its data collection practices.
