FCC Chairman calls on phone industry to combat scam robocalls
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chairman Ajit Pai has called on the telephone industry to fight illegal caller ID spoofing used for scam robocalls by adopting an enhanced call authentication system, and make it available for launch in 2019. Chairman Pai encouraged carriers to keep working together to make this a reality.
