African Union to launch COVID-19 digital platform
As borders in Africa open, the African Union Open Corridor Initiative has deployed a digital platform called PanaBIOS in order to perform bio-screening and cross-border contact tracing to curb the spread of COVID-19. The platform which can be accessed on the web or downloaded is already being used in Ghana to prevent overcrowded workplaces, disease importation, and transmission.
