YouTube to display warning labels on election-related videos
YouTube will add labels to election-related videos to inform users that the results of the elections may not be final in the USA. The warning messages will appear under videos that discuss the elections and at the top of search results for election-related queries. The platform will include a link to a Google election page that will display real-time results from the associated press. YouTube will also promote videos from authoritative news sources in search results and its watch next panel.
