Twitter suspended 235.000 terrorism-related accounts over last six months

Twitter announced that it has suspended 235.000 accounts over the last six months for promoting terrorism or violent threats. This is a strong difference compared to the preceding six months, during which Twitter deleted 125.000 accounts for the same reasons. According to Twitter, ‘there is no ‘magic algorithm’ to identify terrorist content, yet ‘we continue to utilize other forms of technology…to supplement reports from our users’.
