TikTok aims to set new standards in European data security

TikTok has announced the launch of ‘Project Clover’, a new initiative aimed at enhancing data privacy and security for users in Europe. The project includes the construction of a new data centre in Ireland and the establishment of a “Transparency and Accountability Center” in Europe to provide insight into the company’s data handling practices. The initiative also includes the hiring of a new Data Protection Officer for Europe and the launch of a European Safety Advisory Council.
