The World Bank allocates $200 million to enhance Pakistan’s agricultural sector with innovative technology, particularly smart water technology, aimed at boosting water-use efficiency, resilience to extreme weather, and small farmers’ income. The project intends to engage the private sector in acquiring and implementing these technologies, while also offering training to water user associations and households to enhance water conservation and agricultural productivity.
