The Water Data Act was introduced in the US House of Representatives
Representatives from both parties introduced the Water Data Act (HR 7792) at the US House of Representatives. The bill calls for the following: establishing a national water data framework; ensuring that Federal water data are made findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable; integrating water data and tools through common approaches to data infrastructure and platforms and establishing a national geospatial index for publishing and linking water data from Federal, State, Tribal, and other non-Federal sources for online discovery.
