The Government of Western Australia is increasing funding to support a ban on e-waste disposal to landfill by 2024
The E-waste Infrastructure Grants Programme will support projects to increase e-waste collection, storage and/or reuse, including e-waste processing/recycling.
The Government of Western Australia opened applications for the $10 million E-waste Infrastructure Grants Programme, which is part of its commitment to deliver a statewide ban on e-waste disposal to landfill by 2024.
Funding will be administered over two years by the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation and allocated to projects focused on increasing e-waste collection, storage and/or reuse, including e-waste processing/recycling.
Applications deadline is 31 March 2023.
