Survey published on North American university students’ views on the shift to online learning

survey conducted among 3089 higher education students in North America by online learning platform Top Hat shows that effective online learning methodology and delivery are the key factors to keep students engaged during distance learning. The survey summary indicates: (a) overall negative impressions of the abrupt switch to emergency online learning due to the Coronavirus outbreak, (b) lack of face-to-face communication with classmates and faculty, (c) increased anxiety, (d) financial difficulties, among many others.
