Singapore to expand digital ID uses
Singapore’s Smart Nation and Digital Government Group (SNDGG) has stated that the country’s digital ID mobile application Singpass will be loaded with further use cases. These include expansion of the digital payment wallet (GovWallet), digital driving licence as well as practising certificates for professionals. To enhance inclusion, the app will also be translated into vernacular languages.
SNDGG will also partner with the public to identify areas for improvement and co-creation.
