Seoul plans to build a public IoT network throughout Seoul by 2023
Seoul Metropolitan Government (SMG) announced its plan to build the “public IoT network” across the capital by 2023. The IoT network will collect data via IoT sensors from transportation, safety, environment, health, facilities, crime prevention, and disaster. The city government will establish an “operation platform” in the city hall, functioning as the central command center.
