Russia experiments with cutting itself off from WWW
According to the Telegraph UK, a Russian senior industry executive claimed that Russia has conducted tests to cut the country off the World Wide Web, so that Russian Internet ‘could continue to function in isolation from the global Internet’. Russian officials denied the occurence of these tests.
