Rudy Giuliani will advise the US President on cybersecurity

Rudy Giuliani, the former mayor of New York who aspired to the position of Secretary of State in the administration of the coming US President Trump, will instead head the state committee on cybersecurity. The industry and expert community have already raised skepticism about the appointment of Mr Guiliani and his capability to lead on cybersecurity. Mr Giuliani’s initial comment upon the appointment was that the US has let the cybersecurity defense fall behind offense, New York Times reports.
