Ramadan giving impulse to e-commerce sales in Bangladesh
Bagdoom, one of the top e-commerce sites in Bangladesh, is receiving 35% more orders when compared to last year. eCourier, an e-commerce product delivery service company, is predicting a 20 percent increase in orders. Rough weather and growing traffic congestion during Ramadan could be contributing to e-commerce sales in the country. A new development is that the volume of e-commerce outside the capital in rising, which could indicate increasing levels of trust in e-commerce.
