Queen Maxima to advocate for financial inclusion at World Economic Forum

The UN special advocate of the Secretary-General of the United Nations for Inclusive Financing for Development, Queen Maxima will attend the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos this month. She will hold meetings with various stakeholders from government and fintech providers to discuss improving access to financial services. Together with the Dutch Prime Minister, they will meet government representatives and central bank officials from various countries, including Ethiopia, Ghana, Italy, Nigeria, and Pakistan. 

WEF is  an annual, international gathering of global economies. Now in its 50th year, it will be attended by political, business, civil society organisations and academic leaders.
