Popular petrol-buying app suffers data breach
7-Eleven, a popular petrol-buying app, has suffered a data breach that allowed customers to view the names, email addresses, mobile numbers and dates of birth of other users. According to the Guardian, the app was taken offline for several hours after a customer alerted to the fact that he was able to access the personal information of several other customers via the app. The app had been downloaded two million times.
