Pirate Bay’s new streaming service heats up copyright debates

The Pirate Bay has started to offer streaming services of pirated content – often movies, tv series and music. The website has been blocked by most countries in Europe, but is still available Sweden, where the court decided that copyright holders cannot force ISPs to block it. In a similar lawsuit, the Dutch judiciary referred the case to the EU’s highest court, which will have to decide whether The Pirate Bay violates copyright laws.
