Philippines to launch national study on online sexual abuse and exploitation of children

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in Phillippines announced the  launch of a national study on online sexual abuse and exploitation of children (OSAEC) “National Study on Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children in the Philippines”  across the  country from 30 July. Along with the study an online poll “Philippine Kids Online Survey”  will be conducted  on Filipino children, in order to  raise public awareness against all forms of violence against children (VAC).

The DSWD has shared that the  Inter-Agency Council Against Child Pornography (IACACP) and the United Nations Chldren’s Fund (UNICEF) Philippines will be part of this initiative.
