New decrease in EU roaming charges before their end in June 2017
Roaming across EU member states is cheaper from April 30. Users of mobile devices will only pay a small amount on top of their domestic prices (including calling, texting and data). After this short transition period, until June 2017, EU citizens will pay the same price whether they use their mobile devices at home or somewhere else in the EU. New roaming rules are part of the Regulation (EU) 2015/2120 that lays down measures concerning open Internet access (net neutrality).
