GIZ and Orange launch Orange Digital Centre for digital skills and innovation
The German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ) and mobile operator Orange have established the Orange Digital Centre in Ethiopia. The centre is expected to allow for the sharing of digital skills and innovation. Among other things, the centre will consist of a coding school, a startup accelerator, and an investment fund which together will promote an inclusive approach to increase the employability of young individuals and promote the East African digital ecosystem.
