Germany ratifies Convention 108+ of the Council of Europe
The German Ambassador in Hungary has deposited the instrument of ratification of Germany to the Protocol amending the Convention for the Protection of Individuals with regard to Automatic Processing of Personal Data (CETS 223), in the presence of the Council of Europe Secretary General. Germany is thus the 14th State to ratify Convention 108+ ; it has been Party to Convention 108 since 1 October 1985.
