Four years after the World IPv6 Launch, 12% of Internet users connect over IPv6

In June 2012, when the World IPv6 Launch initiative begun, many websites (including Google, Facebook, and Yahoo) and networks decided to permanently enable IPv6. At that point, only 1% of all Internet users were connecting over IPv6 (source). Now, four years later, Google stats show that 12% of Internet users access Google over IPv6. Moreover, recent IPv6 Launch Network Operator measurements published by the Internet Society show IPv6 deployment in a number of ISPs to be reaching nearly 50%.
