FBI agrees to help a persecutor in Arkansas unlock an iPhone and iPod, in a murder case
Few days after the FBI announced that it had found a way to access the phone use by one of the San Bernardino shooters, the Bureau has agreed to assist a prosecutor in Arkansas in unlocking an iPhone and iPod belonging to two men investigated in a murder case. According to media reports, the prosecutor confirmed that the FBI had agreed to assist less than a day after the submission of the request, but he did not provide details about the case. Update (31 March): The FBI later on said that the agency did not have enough information about the two devices to be able to say whether it could assist as requested.
