Facebook signals readiness for new Californian privacy law

As the new California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) will come into effect on 1 January 2020, companies are currently adjusting to stricter privacy norms. Facebook announced being ready for this new privacy law, stating:  “We are ready for its arrival in part because we’ve made long-term investments across our products to help people everywhere easily manage their privacy and understand their choices with respect to their data.”
