Facebook to remove posts that deny or warp the history of the Holocaust

Facebook announced it is changing its hate speech policy to remove posts that denies or distort the Holocaust. Over the past years, Facebook has not deleted such content with the aim to safeguard the value of freedom of expression in the platform. Moreover, Facebook will direct people searching for terms related to the denial of the Holocaust to credible information outside the platform. Facebook has changed its policy given data showing an increase in antisemitic violence. In a recent survey, the platform found that almost a quarter of adults in the USA ranging from 18 to 19 years old do not believe in the Holocaust or that it had been exaggerated.
