EU’s DSA published in the Official Journal EU
The European Unions’ Digital Services Act was officially published, while the majority of its provisions will apply in the next two years.
On 27 October 2022, the European Union’s Digital Service Act, a set of rules to ensure a safe online environment, was published in the Official Journal. It will enter into force in twenty days, with the majority of the provisions becoming applicable from February 2024. Meanwhile, the obligations for very large online platforms and very large online search engines will apply already next year, four months after a company is designated as such.
