EU plans rules on cybersecurity for IoT devices
The European Commission is reportedly planning to propose legislation to protect Internet of Thing (IoT) devices from cybersecurity breaches. Such rules would would require tech companies to meet drastic security standards and go through certification processes to guarantee privacy. Moreover, companies would be encourage to develop a labeling system for IoT devices that are approved and secure.
