Estonia, ITU and several others sign digital agreement to advance SDGs
Estonia, Germany, the International Telecommunications Union, and the Digital Impact Alliance have signed a digital agreement in order to advance sustainable development goals. The objective of the agreement is to accelerate digital transformation and digital services that are essential for the achievement of SDGs. The partners set out four objectives including efforts in establishing a “Reference Implementation of a Digital Government Platform”, fundraising so as to contribute to the effort of deploying and scaling up of digital services, joint action on capacity building as well as development of ICT competences within the international community.
