EP adopts report on European Cloud Initiative
The European Parliament adopted a report on the European Cloud Initiative, which aims to reinforce the region’s commitment to competitiveness, innovation and the development of the European Digital Single Market. The Parliament Report welcomed the European Cloud Initiative but noted the need to further coordinate the uptake of cloud services in the region, ensure the proper financial resources are allocated and the under-representation of key stakeholders in the discussions leading to standard-setting, governance and implementation of the initiative.
