Elsevier launches online nursing education programme in China
Elsevier has announced the launch of an online nursing education platform that addresses the growing needs of elderly care in China. In China, there are more than 40 million disabled and semi-disabled elderly people, however, the country falls short of the 1:4 nursing staff to elderly ratio recommended by the Ministry of Civil Affairs. The platform titled Elderly Care China aims to bridge this gap by using a digital solution developed by Elsevier to equip China’s nursing professionals with quality, comprehensive, and practical skills.
