Comcast announces customer service in sign language, a first in the industry

According to Forbes, on International Day of Disabled Persons, Comcast and Connect Direct launched ASL Now, a customer service support via American Sign Language (ASL). This announcement is the first of its kind in the cable industry. This new feature intends to bridge the digital divide for Americans with disabilities, and in particular members of the deaf community, to be connected to the internet at home without barriers.
