Canadian children’s disability service unintentionally shares data of 9.000 clients

According to CBC, the Canadian children’s disability services has accidentally sent an email intended for the Manitoba Advocate for Children and Youth (MACY) to about 100 Canadian agencies and advocacy groups. The email included personal information of about 9.000 disabled children, including their diagnoses and addresses. The Manitoba Advocate for Children and Youth has stated it is “working with the government to determine the nature and scope of the breach.”
