Applying the Americans with Disabilities Act to cyberspace

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) has been in effect in the USA since July, 1990, at the beginning of wide use of the Internet. Now, in February, 2016, groups for persons with disabilities, such as the National Federation of the Blind will travel to Washington, D.C., to highlight the need to make the provisions of the ADA applicable in cyberspace. Suburban blind activists seek accessible Internet details some of what is being done, and what needs to be done to address Internet access for persons with disabilities.
