Akamai report shows that there is still an increase in the use of IPv4 addresses

Akamai’s report on the state of the Internet in the fourth quarter of 2015 shows that, despite the continued depletion of available IPv4 address space, approximately 70% of the analyses countries/regions had higher unique IPv4 address counts in the court quarter of 2015 compared with the previous year. South Korea, Japan, and United Kingdom saw the largest increase in this regard. At the same time, IPv6 deployments also continued to grow among providers worldwide. The top five countries in terms of IPv6 deployments are Belgium, Germany, Greece, Portugal, and the United States.
