Adoption process of Indian personal data protection bill postponed
According to India Times, the joint parliamentary committee studying the Personal data protection bill has requested an extension to submit its report to the Parliament on the legislation. After the bill was tabled in parliament, the joint committee in charge of this text had initiated a consultation of stakeholders, which has not been finalized yet.
