International Trade Centre

54-56 rue de Montbrillant, Geneva, Switzerland

The International Trade Centre (ITC) is a joint agency of the World Trade Organization and the United Nations. Its work is dedicated to ensuring that businesses in developing countries become more competitive in global markets, as well as to contributing to the achievement of the United Nations goals for sustainable development.

ITC’s mission is to connect small and medium-sized enterprises in developing countries and transition economies to the global trading system. The organisation gives special attention to supporting businesses in least developed countries, landlocked developing countries, small island developing states, sub-Saharan Africa and fragile, and post-conflict economies.

One area of activity for ITC is related to the promotion of e-commerce and trade in information technology services and in information technology-enabled services.

ITC is one of the co-facilitators of the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) action lines, in the area of e-business.
