Yahoo faces class-action lawsuit of spam text messages
Yahoo Inc. is facing class-action lawsuit for allegedly sending unsolicited text messages to mobile phone users. The lawsuit, which was granted class status by a US District Judge, argues that Yahoo is to pay $500 for each violation. Over 500,000 mobile phone customers of Sprint Corp. could form part of the lawsuit.
