World Bank approves US$75 million to assist Dominica’s digital economy

The World Bank has approved a US$75 million fund to stimulate the digital economy in Dominica. According to Dominica’s Minister for the Digital Economy Cassani Laville, the fund will be channeled to support cybersecurity and telecommunications and transform the way business is currently conducted. To this aim, the fund will support different areas including health, education, travel facilitation, tourism, business, young entrepreneurs, education, the private sector, e-government, and digitalisation.
