Multistakeholder working group created to advance ethical and responsible AI

The World Economic Forum (WEF), AI Global, and the Schwartz Reisman Institute for Technology and Society at the University of Toronto have launched a working group to develop a certification programme for the responsible and trusted use of algorithmic decision-making and artificial intelligence (AI) systems. The multistakeholder group is expected to create practical tools for the development of responsible AI systems, and measurable assessments for fairness, bias, explainability, and other metrics for responsible AI. The initiative is incubated with the WEF’s platform: Shaping the Future of Technology Governance: Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
